Individuals with Adult-Onset, Type 2, Diabetes represent 90 to 95 percent of all diabetics. An estimated 15.7 million Americans have diabetes, of which almost one-third are unaware that they have the disorder.
Undetected and uncontrolled diabetes can have serious side effects, such as blindness, heart disease, nerve disease and kidney disease.
This test should be used as a guideline, and is based on guidelines developed in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
